I particularly enjoy spaces that offer outdoor dining, cooking facilities, and ample opportunities for hiking. Recently, I had the pleasure of spending Christmas in a lovely self-catering apartment that perfectly catered to my preferences. The Owl Barn was not only spacious and beautifully designed but also equipped with a full kitchen, allowing us to prepare meals while enjoying stunning views over the river Fowey. The outdoor terrace was ideal for dining al fresco, and the peaceful surroundings provided a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The welcoming hosts ensured a delightful stay, from the hearty breakfast delivered to our room to the incredible walking trails on offer. It was a thoroughly enriching experience, and I couldn't recommend this haven enough for anyone seeking tranquility and connection with nature.
